Privacy

Wandra needs no account. Settings, saved routes and day plans stay on your device.

For maps, timetables, weather and safety data Wandra requests data from swisstopo and geo.admin.ch, opentransportdata.swiss or transport.opendata.ch and, via the Wandra server, from MeteoSwiss. Stops, route coordinates and – only with “Near me” – your location are transmitted.

Wandra runs on Cloudflare. Technical access data such as IP address and time are processed for delivery and security.

Wandra Plus: payments are processed by Stripe. Wandra receives no card data. A signed licence with the subscription number is stored on your device; to restore a purchase your email address is matched with Stripe.

No ads, no tracking. Your GPS position on the trail is not stored.

Reach: Wandra counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics – no cookies, no fingerprinting, no personal data.

In the iPhone app your location is used only for the On the trail mode and the turnaround reminder; it stays on the device.

Terms of use and Wandra Plus

Wandra is a planning aid. Information on trails, timetables, weather, crowds and hazards is provided without warranty. On site, signage, closures and your own judgement prevail; you are responsible for your hike.

Wandra Plus costs CHF 29 per year. No VAT is charged as the provider is not registered for VAT. The subscription renews automatically every year and can be cancelled at any time effective at the end of the paid period – under “Wandra Plus” → “Manage or cancel subscription”.

Wandra may develop features or restrict them temporarily, for example if data sources fail.

Liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Swiss law applies. Place of jurisdiction is Locarno; mandatory places of jurisdiction for consumers are reserved.
